Elementary Football Stations
Elementary introductory to football lesson for grades 3 and 4! The lesson was prepared for a class period of about 50 minutes. The lesson is run with a quick instant activity and then right into various stations. Some stations include passing, catching, agility and running!
Middle School Dance
Middle School P.E. Dance lesson intended for students in the 7th or 8th grade. The lesson was made for a 45 minute time frame. It includes and instant activity, set induction and the main dance to a modified song of "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars. You can access a video of the dance under the "teaching" tab!
Adapted Physical Education
Students in the physical education class this lesson was planned for performed a quick warmup in the fitness center. We then made out way to the gymnasium and worked on modified skills like passing and shooting in basketball. We then played a game of 4 v 4 with very limited rules.
High School Health:
Escape the Vape
This health Lesson plan intended for students in grades 10-12, focuses on the affects and misconceptions of vaping and E-Cigarettes. This lesson is intended for a period 90 minutes in length but, can we adjusted for a shorter time frame. The students will each need access to the internet for the bell-ringer activity.
Elementary Health:
Eat Well, Be Well
This Lesson plan includes a bell ringer, main ideas of the lesson and an activity for the students to complete with a partner! This lesson is focused around Nutrition with information on the 5 food groups and what our meals should consist of on a regular basis. This lesson was a great opportunity to incorporate the students families and increase the talk of healthy eating at home!
High School Health:
Cardiovascular System
This Lesson Plan deals with the first 3 days of the cardiovascular system unit! By the end of the three days students will be able to identify the different structures and where they are located in the heart, how we have developed a more sedentary lifestyle than the past and be able to identify between a controllable and uncontrollable risk factor
High School P.E.:
Womba Ball
Womba ball is a combination of cricket and Wiffle ball! This is an awesome activity to incorporate skills like underhand and overhand tossing, stroking with an implement and cardiovascular endurance! You can have a ton of fields set up and everyone is actively participating and enjoying the exercise! They do not even think twice about running if they are scoring the most points!
Elementary Stem:
Hungry, Hungry Hippos
During this lesson students participated in an activity that resembled the board game hungry, hungry hippos. In between each round students counted the amounts of varied color plastic balls they collected and made tally marks. When students were back in their classroom, they made graphs with the information they gathered during the game.

P.E. Scope and Sequence
This Scope and Sequence was developed for Elementary (K-5 Grade) students. The criteria the scope and sequence was based off of is as follows.

180 days in the schools year

You will see each student once a week the entire year.

There are 30 students in each class.

Fitness Testing is required at each grade level

You have plenty of equipment and facility space to accommodate what you want to offer
In the scope and sequence you will take notice to the introduction of the Sports Education model and the Fitness Model.
Unit Plan:
Recreational Games
This unit plan was based off of the concept, Lifelong fitness. The unit is composed of 5 different lessons which include, cornhole, Kan-Jam, Spikeball, and Kubb. There is also a built in day for students to rotate for a chance to play every game at the end of the unit or have a free selection of the activity they want to take part in!
